I have several exhausting hours of karate to get through, a fabulous birthday party to attend and a house party to get to immediately after.
I love busy days like this, and I feel that I get more done when I'm feeling a little pressure. I am wondering how I'm going to hide all of my bruises though (I've been doing a lot of karate training lately) and what I'm going to wear that can accommodate both parties.
The birthday party is in celebration of my best friend Shilpa's 26th birthday. She is absolutely stunning and her gorgeous skin tone looks great next to pretty much every colour you can imagine, in particularly so next to greens, turquoises and blues. I find that this lovely paisley necklace of stoneware clay, glazed with a beautiful lotus blossom glaze reminds me of Shilpa herself, and would probably look fantastic on her. I've bought her a gift already, but if I wanted the above necklace, I would just have to visit DornickDesigns on etsy.com to find it.
The second party is at the house of this guy I'm seeing. I've told you about him before right? I met him at a wedding, he's cool, blah, blah and so on. I think it's going to be a huge party, and he's got a pretty nice place that I'm going to have to travel an hour and a half to get to. So you see my dilemma, I'm going to have to wear something nice to the dinner, but it has to be suitable for the travel and then has to be relaxed enough for the house party...
I know, being a girl is a tough one these days ;)
